On our last excursion we took a team of dentists and one doctor to a village high in the sierra madre mountains. We drove in the back of a one ton truck on a trek of 10 km that took 2 hours. This picture is where the clinic was held also the place that 57 people gave there hearts to the lord while we were there. The town is called San Francisco.
Here is handsome dental team. Brent Wong from Winnipeg he has dental office called Shine dental that you may want to check out. Oscar Zertuche who has a practice right hear in Matomoros, also a person to check out when in Mexico you can get a cavity filled for 20 dollars. Also Kevin from our home town killarney and he works in the dental office there. All three are amazing people and also have a heart for God. With out them on the dental clinic Phil and I would have had to pull teeth with our pliers, which would not have been succesfull.
And here you have it this was our transportation up the mountain. It does not get any better here, this happens to be a government issue transport truck. The box was held on with metal straps with wood blocks put between so the wheels didn't hit the box. But the group loved it and they will forever have the numb feeling in butts to remember the ride.

And here is someone you will remember. We took this picture in Matlapa on the way down the mountain because this was our last time here and we will miss it. We lived in this area for a month and made many friends here.

Then just to change things up a little and to be totally off topic, here is a picture of my nephew Tyler snowboarding. Everyday when I come back from Matomoros dripping with sweat from the plus 40 weather i look at this picture and it cools me off abit.
